I am a contemporary acrylic painter that specializes in painting horses, landscapes, and abstracts. I have been painting regularly since 2019. My artistic journey began like many others, with a pencil and a few sheets of #2 notebook paper, sketching horses out of textbooks. After many years of sketching and drawing, I eventually became curious about other medias, such as acrylic, oil, and even textiles. My goal is to create pieces that invite the audience to create a "third space," otherwise known as - a hangout spot. An area to connect with others, where the subject matter of the painting effectively communicates the intent of the space. My hope is that my pieces successfully result in face - to - face communication between people who share common interests.
